33rd Day in NC...15-10-2009

I have 2 society meetings today. One is Amnesty, and another one is Howard League. Amnesty is a society about human right, fight racism & so on. Howard League is something related to the prison & female prisoner (haven't decided yet want to join or not). After attended these 2 societies, I realized that most of the society (unless NUTS) I have joined mostly just have 1 Asian--that me. I don't know why n I am really curious that which society do Asian student join? Chinese society or what? Don't they think are really boring here? (I think I probably will not get the answer. hehe...)
Indeed, I want to learn something new, know more friends & enjoy my life here. I am not that kind of person who join a lot of society in my secondary school. Actually I am quite anti-social in my secondary school. But I know here have variety society that Malaysia do not have. I found something new n what I want here. I like to do charity n fund-raising (perhaps). Sometimes I am quite jealous that people know a lot of things or have a very good secondary school life, for example like joining a lot of society n knowing a lot of friends, which like America school (I think). I also know US Uni will see through how active n what kind of society you have joined in your school b4 accept u.
I hope to make more friends, but the truth always is not like what I have expected. Because British speak quite fast n their accent are quite strong (sometimes totally no idea what they are talking about. haha...).
